I've heard some partizan arguments before but, come on, not even the staunchest of staunch supporters from Staunchland can defend this! It showed clearly on MOTD that Diouf spat at De Zeeuw. it does seem to be a thing in our culture, that in a way spitting is more offensive than a load of swearing. it seems to be the lack of respect it shows. if someone spat in my face, i'd find it hard not to smack them!
