They got a letter of the complainant saying it had not been properly investigated that they are bound to check. Same most institutions do before something is formally closed. Boris new evidence was found hence the case was reopened. One led to a Fixed Penalty Notice because the rules were broken, the other has not found any wrong doing. In one the then PM was found to have misled Parliament in the other someone is just not commenting.

Which makes the point that a 'claim' is not evidence.

Just been reading up, she had a kid born prematurely at 23 weeks (i think) she had bought her ex council house as had her husband. They were transitioning into one household from 2, but she was spent most of her time with the kid in intensive care so 'home' was pretty fluid. Clearly one side of the story but hardly the actions of a major fraud investigation.

As you say it is a 'claim' not 'evidence' I claim you know what I meant in my earlier post but have no evidence, so I won't call you a liar as I might be wrong.

I thought the MET investigated after new evidence came out. GMP are not investigating new evidence they are checking the complaint was handled properly. It is not the same. If/when there is new credible evidence there might be a case for her responding but untill then this a story being driven by the political affiliation of news outlet.

I think you do but the MOS is the mouth piece of the Tory party, so anything they say is taken with a pinch of salt. Same way if the roles were reversed and it was the Guardian attacking a Tory I would say it was clutching at straws.

I do not think there is any new evidence, the complainant James Daly has said he does not think his complaint was properly investigated. Which why it is still running. So at the moment she has been found to have done nothing wrong. So the Police are checking if complaint was properly investigated they have not reopened the investigation due to new evidence.

Not really followed this but as I understand it .. It was investigated by the Police who said there was nothing wrong. Then the millionaire non dom who made the original complaint said it had not been investigated properly which the Police are obliged to investigate. Why if the Police say there is nothing wrong should she have to react ? Unless I have missed something ?

Rico was to blame for the goal in the home game. The other factor on the Coleman/Baxter debate is the confidence the defence have in the keeper , Coleman's regular darts off the line when he was first in the team affected the defence, so as he has settled down the defences confidence has also increased. The fact people are asking if Baxter should come straight back in shows how Shaggy has improved

People saying the current crop of Conservatives are right wing or left wing are basically ignoring that they are no longer a functioning party. They are a group of factions under the Tory banner. Depends which group are currently shouting loudest. The irony is that more right are being swept into Reform and the more central do not have a home in the party. I thought asylum seekers had 'no recourse to public funds' so can not apply for council housing , unless they are on specific schemes for Ukraine and Afghanistan. Costs a fortune putting them up in hotels but if you come from France on a boat not sure you can apply for a council house. If you are French and coming from France on an EU settlement visa you can but think you have to be already living here to get one of them. Once the application is processed and if accepted you can apply for housing... I think.
