We got fcuked, well and truelly fcuked! He decided he wanted to move, 2 days before the deadline. We got ??10 million upfront, on deadline day....so had no chance to spend any money. Then another ??10 million a year later....and little add-ons when United win things. Becasue he said he wanted to go to United, we then had little choice but for them to screw us.

If you were playing for Bolton, on ??20k a week, the fans loved you, you were from the Town, you were the best player....and they offerd you the biggest deal in the Clubs history, eg ??45k a week, rising to ??55k a week within 2 years, already playing for your country....already hailed as the best thing since sliced bread......then Man United come along and offerd you ??50k a week straight away....would you take it ??????
