Like vampires, shit scared of crosses. We concede so many goals from crosses. We have conceded 41 goals. Most In the top 15. It's embarrassing for a team with promotion ambitions. I think short term we should be looking to go to a back 4. Just to be more solid.

The performance today was better. Probably the best we've played for a while. But they give soft goals away. Another cross, easy goal. If they can't do the basics defensively it don't matter what formation we play. People are saying this was like Barnsley. It wasn't. They are fucking shit. This issue with the squad is it's not built with wingers. Our wide players are defenders/midfielders i.e. schon, Randall, Tutu etc. makes it very hard to go 433. Personally I think I'd go 4231. I like the base of a back 4 with the 2 in front. It might be better to play out from the back this way too as there's potentially 6 outfield players to get involved. Might beat the press for once. Width is always gonna be the concern though.

I think when your conceding goals at the rate we are from wide areas and crosses, a back 4 makes sense. I think we need to be more solid. The narrow comment worries me though. If the only width is the full backs I think that's a problem. Interested to see what we do. I do think the most likely scenario is still a back 3.

Maybe not this particular game, but deffo for hudds, we need him to beat the press. He seems to be the only midfielder who can consistently take it in tight windows and not lose it. Without him it's slow passing between the keeper and back three, then hoof it to two guys that can't play hoofball.

Hopefully there's a clause that he can't play against us. Bound to fucking score past us. Wouldn't surprise me if he had a niggly injury that keeps him out.

He's 29 and not been at his best this year. The off field stuff is clearly affecting him. Unless you know what the fee is, which nobody does because it'll be undisclosed, then you can't really moan that he's being sold for a little return.
