  1. I rarely post on here, but I know Miami, Mounts, Issac, Brixton etc very well. From memory the Blackburn lad was an ex great lever / morris green lad who moved to Blackburn and who brought a few b/burn lads to the cup game who stood at the bottom of our side of the paddock. Burnley did surprise us before the cup game with numbers & were certainly up for it more than usual, but after the game Bolton more than held their own, the following week Bolton turned out with a very decent mob going in over the tops, but I'm sure that Burnley didn't turn out - having been to Burnley on numerous occasions in the 80's, games may be morphing into one but I do recall either the year before or year after running them into town afterwards after we had all been in their end (open end) - 50 of us from the Vulcan, & Willows, Deane went on a coach with only 1 returning on the coach, the rest (some top lads, real characters) hung about after the game and had an enjoyable day mixing it with them in the town centre, Burnley had a go several times but we held our own, only for the train to be bricked about 5 minutes after we had boarded. The bank holiday Monday game at the Bradford Arms was the largest mob of Bolton lads I've seen - must of been 400+ (we were in the Alma beforehand), it was going off under the Burnden stand, with Bolton trying to smash the doors in, but Burnley did have a go afterwards on the waste land near the old MFI.

I doubt that anyone on here knows the finer details of Parkinson's contract, its just speculation. Whether it has been reported as being a 12 month rolling contract or not, whether it has a defined notice period or not, and whether it has a 12 month notice period, a 3 month notice period or a 1 month notice period no one on here will know the exact detail, it could be a bespoke non standard contract we just don't know - the only people who know are Parkinson, the club, and now FV.

Surely he'd be in demand in the NBA, a manager who's philosophy is to keep the ball off the ground at all costs and keep the ball at height over 6ft in the air at all times - an absolute shoe in for the next NBA managers job. If not the NBA, then garden leave certainly looks to be the best & cheapest way forward to me - if he's that good & proven in League 1 then most of the other League 1 clubs are surely queuing up for him & would take him off our hands if he's available on a free.

Surely this is the right way to go, put him on gardening leave and if he's as good as Fanny 5 / Casino / Mounts say then surely he'll get snapped up in the next few months and we save money. If he's as good as they say, then surely other League 1 / championship teams will be queuing up for his services.

Keith Hill ?, there will be much better managers than him interested in managing BWFC

Any optimism regarding the takeover & it being a fresh start etc. will evaporate immediately if Parkinson is still manager. It's ok some saying they don't care if people don't renew if Parkinson is still manager. Seriously do people really want to turn up week in week out in a stadium 1/4 full with 6,000-7,000 on watching the same old Parkinson dross ?

That's around fcuking 4 games in two years - I will ask you again please tell of these 'many' games we played well. For the avoidance of doubt, could you please list these played well in games.

Played some great stuff last time in League 1....seriously ?, please refresh my mind, in how many games exactly was it in more than 2 or 3 games out of 46 with a team / squad much better than the majority in the division. Supporters defending Parkinson's football, sure they are entitled as is everyone else, but do they attend games pissed or blind folded ?...the football has been absolutely fcuking dire under PP, whoever wants to continue paying good money to watch the absolute shite on display week in week out good luck to you, enjoy having a row to yourselves.

Fanny 5 you are obviously related to him or know him personally, but like it or not Parkinson was as culpable as KA last season in regards to our relegation.

Another serious own goal by FV if true....it has to be a wind up, surely FV are not this stupid, they will be hated more than KA by Sept.

FV must monitor forums, twitter etc....however unstable some fans appear. Its a serious own goal by FV this if true, they needed a fresh start - give fans hope etc....this is just more of the same shite. BWFC Fanny 5 will be delirious

Fresh start under FV....?? I'm really hoping that this is more Nixon bollocks or a wind up, but I seriously think people under estimate how much damage this will cause - the majority of fans have seriously had enough of Parkinson & his dire, shite, boring as fuck, hoof ball, anti non football.

Well it wont be Parkinson will it, he takes no responsibility for anything on the pitch - nothing is ever his fault It'll be back to Div 4 Burnden crowds of 3,000-4,000 in the 80's....why don't' FV listen if they retain Parkinson they may as well throw money down the drain, they must know fcuk all about football if they are thinking of retaining the 'dinosaur'. FV will lose the majority of fans from day one if they retain Parkinson - serious major mistake if true
