i agree, go to even a local club with a club house, get a pint watch a match and have a laugh with the added bonus of sky sports being on to keep up with how bolton are doing. used to go all the time (86-2005) then it was picking games, now cant be arsed at all reasons same as other posters , too expensive, i used to walk from home to burden, now it takes longer to get off car park than it does to fly to spain, stewards who b*llock you for shouting at the ref, fans of areas like the paddock spread all over ground, f*ckin fireworks and cheerleaders ground half empty at half time when a legend comes on so no applause, i could go on but you get the drift.

i registered on this just to make the following point about your comment on trains to town (manchester) manchester is not town, thats a manc comment, manchester is manchester or that sh*thole down the road, but definitley not town. town is bradshawgate, ye old pastie shop, old man and scythe, waiting for f*ckin taxis and girls i.e BOLTON, Bolton is Town up bury rd down st helens rd etc NOT MANCHESTER. there are enough manc traits creeping in to our place without wanderers fans starting to call that place town. ours is town and they can keep their stupid trams fountains and smart new pedestrian areas. would rather wait at bradshawgate taxis and share with some drunk (but still pay same fair) and be from bolton than g\et on some tram with a load of oasis mimicking pretentious twats and be from manchester. be proud to be from Bolton before we get swallowed up into the monster that is manchester.
