I presume Rasiak is just a back up plan - and a low rent one at that. If you class Dioufy as an attacking midfielder/ winger then this is probably the pecking order for our forward line when fit: Davies Helguson Vaz Te Rasiak Harsanyi Here's hoping Megson has something up his sleeve or I fear for our future and the ?5m defender we just bought will have to be sold at the end of the season when we go down!!!

With the dwindling support here's a few ideas how to increase support: 1. Have a decent ticket office that aren't always busy or too numb to pick up 2. Sort out the poor online ticket sales system 3. Don't expect 24,000 people to enjoy battling their way through 2 roundabouts after full time 4. Offer better catering facilities - not just the cheapest brands around served by bin laden 5. Create better, less congested parking facilities 6. Offer loyal fans incentives to renew season tickets ie an increasing loyalty discount 7. Advertise the 'product' and the travel schemes available

I don't see why were panicking buying a centre back - the defence looks organised enough now whoever plays there. Its goals that are going to keep us in this league so a striker should be the priority. Whether Cahill is worth the fee or not he's not going to make the difference to the season someone like Anelka would. I would stay well clear of nugent - way way off the pace of the premier league Roberts would be decent if at the right price, so would Harewood

I think the fact were committing ?4.5m on a player who was playing in the championship would be enough to convince him. Has anyone, apart from Megson, seen this guy play? Seems expensive for a relatively inexperienced defender! Also it would be good to see Eidur back at the club but feel we would still lack pace going forward

What about this Toto Tamuz we've been linked with? Does anyone know if he is any good? I'd rather gamble on a rising talent for a couple of million than pay over ?5million for an over priced average player Is it me or is Anelka starting to look cheap!!

Good point considering we have little to offer going forward at the moment. A least we look disciplined at the back now! Highlighted the need to sign a goalscorer though! A creative midfielder would be good too!!
