  1. i completely agree it was a disgrace mavies got in ahead of him
  2. Aye When the ball hits row Z its Muamba or however it goes all the time search 'muamba pass/passing' on here and it might crash your computer with the amount of search results
  3. I think you are overestimating how many managers in general are considered a success based on a small sample size of bolton manager in your lifetime. there is absolutely nothing to suggest that in the greater world of football, an experienced manager is more successful than a young manager in our situation.
  4. I'm not trying to put words in your mouth so correct me if i'm misunderstanding. are you saying because young managers never worked for us with Freedman or in the 80's we should rule them all out completely? are you saying there is some king of link where they work elsewhere but specifically not with bolton wanderers?
  5. What relevance has that got? We shouldn't have appointed Allardyce then Megson was 'experienced' loads will have you believe he almost ruined us.
  6. so we rule out all young managers because Freedman never worked?
  7. As are the managers you suggested.
  8. Well said. This is a big part of the problem, people need to remember where we are. We're no longer in the position we were when Allardyce left, we're need to get to grips with what we are again. we're a middle of the road championship club our aim this season is to stay up and gradually improve year by year with a long term plan to get back to the premier league. not next season, probably not the season after and maybe not even the season after that. we're building from the bottom again, we need players with re sale value and build and build. the process for appointing freedman was the correct one, it never worked out, tough shit, it doesn't mean it wasn't the right way to do it. with that in mind i hope its the same process again. young manager with lots of potential with a good record of bringing through kids. not some 'experienced' manager just because he has twenty clubs on his cv
  9. fuck knows how gartside appointed allarydce he had stuff on his record that proved he was shit and he wasn't even experienced
  10. 'lets not appoint him because he has a 25% win percentage' is ridiculous once again its people using a pointless stat that proves nothing What's better someone with a 25% win percentage for a team who has the lowest budget in the league or a manager with a 35% win percentage with one of the biggest budgets in the league.
  11. Yes. They made the right decision getting rid of him.
