  1. Expected goals is the best stat out there. We're not missing chances, we've score what we should have from what we have created. We're just not creating chances.

But that means I could say the new man should be gone on his first day and the. If he eventually does get potted I can say I called it right.
  3. They're definitely good enough to compete in this division, ie mid table. I do think douglas will be a good manager. I have no doubt whatsoever he's not a coyle even though his team selections are now reminding me of coyle. I just wish he'd have found his best team and stuck to it, even if i didnt agree with it.
  4. Cas, im not expecting you to change just because I have but whatever team and line up how does he not play Mason?
  5. He did for the first half anyway. Iv no idea about the second half
  6. That line uo was a disgrace Ream midfield ffs It was another last throw if the dice and hope it works job And I swear. Feeney on the left (who is the most one footed player we have) had the ball pumped to him all night from Lonergan. All night. Not once did he win the header. It's ridiculous
  7. il be pissed by then
  8. 78 minutes until beer
  9. just saw this on twitter.
  10. that's because you're a beer snob and go in places frequented by nonces.

to be fair that could also be known as Allardycing
  14. We're not scoring because we're not creating enough chances. from the chances we've had we should have scored 8 goals and we've got 7. the link between midfield and attack is the problem
  15. stick to bumming dogs
  16. no they don't they have McCormack and Parker who's legs have gone. They've got a load of foreigners who have never played in england before and a load of kids who are aren't ready. we will obviously lose though
  17. That's true. I do believe it would have been the same back five whatever if they'd all have been fit.
  18. I agree with this it does show all the constant changes in formation and line up have been done hoping to stumble across the right team. that really pisses me off call me deluded but i'm going to take from this article, no hope, that he's realised his mistakes and will pick and team and fucking stick to it. i'm sure he won't though

The Danns thing really pisses me off and I will never get it.
  20. the thing that bugs me Phillips and Lee, they've spent the last however many years with the kids. presumably they've been using all their time on kids and nothing but kids. not what's been going on in world football and im not talking about watching the football league show on saturday night pissed it's a completely different world and now people think they're just going to come in and know what's what with opposing teams, potential transfer targets and everything else. If it's going to be Phillips we 100% need a director of football.

Top 5 Leagues in Europe. Prem, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1. Based on the last 4 years. Managers who have managed at least 34 games in that time. Theres 154 managers. 1st being the manager who's team presses the most, 154 being the manager who's team presses the least. Guardiola is 3rd for example 138 Steve Bruce 147 Tony Pulis 148 Sam Allardyce
  22. haha I got it back after the gig although some guy off his chops was fighting me for it as he thought it was Doherty's

Coyle was international break so there were 14 days until the next game. Megson was Tuesday with an FA Cup game against Lincoln on the Saturday but no league game for 19 days! Sammy Lee was international break with 13 days until the next game So it looks like we can be pretty certain if the decision is made to replace him then it will be after the this weekend. Basically id guess he's been told he has Fulham and Bournemouth to save his job. if he doesnt keep it, monday or tuesday morning at 11 id guess it will be announced.

Megson - drew with Hull Tuesday, sacked on the Wednesday but can't find the time Coyle - lost to Milwall on the Saturday, sacked on the Tuesday at 10:30am
