Cliche but MASSIVE game this one…albeit still early days Win and we are well positioned to kick on from a 1.5PPG start, which for me is enough of an indication of a step in right direction, in both performances and points return considering the damage done in the last few transfer windows (upto this summer!) and with some incomings likely in next 48 hours Lose and we are no better than last year, still coming unstuck away at Blackpool which plays into the feeling of a soft underbelly still existing and with transfer activity feeling pressured and ‘season rescuing’ I’m still very much in SS camp but momentum and feel good factor is crucial to drag the club out of the apathy state of last season

Let’s be honest, the Wigan performance was largely torrid but understandably met with relief and over the top celebrations from players and fans alike. Results and performances like today shouldn’t be that much of a surprise to anyone with this unbalanced and weak squad assembled

Definitely, genuinely thought he was going to hook Randell when he made the double substitution. He’s got all the attributes for being a more solid option

Still not lost our ‘soft’ side and tendency to gift goals which will make any promotion aspirations exactly that. However, I don’t see the need for panic nor do I read too much into early season form as shown in recent years.

Johnston as much at fault for their goal in my eyes, simple header that should have been won. We are the stronger team but typically, one lapse of concentration and the game plan is ripped up and plays into their hands. All that said, we look dangerous and so still very much in the game if we carry on.
