  1. True! giving Collymore a beat down and breaking sunbeds jaw... he's in!
  2. Looking over the "wee push" video, no doubt that Big John wasn't shy with having it out on the pitch. Who else would say was no nonsense player as such. Stig Tofting? SKD? Gerry Taggart? Who and why... discuss.
  3. Hopefully 4-0 for my daughters first game and she'll want to come back, pester my Mrs and get my season ticket back!...
  4. Fucking smashing the pie eating bastards!!! Should be 4. What a difference since NL came in.
  5. Not quiet mate Her first game will be Huddersfield at the end of the month, if we lose I'll ban her forever, if we win shes the lucky charm! Now to do the pie munchers on Friday!!
  6. Was having a think of all the grounds I've been too over the years as a wanderer, most of which have been pretty tame and no problems, then the few where I've thought "its gonna go off today" and felt a little uncomfortable. So was wondering what grounds you chaps and ladies think are the worst and best for that matter in terms of feeling "unsafe" if thats the correct word to use: Un-safe grounds..... St Andrews - Not pleasant on the 2 occasions I've been Maine Road - walking up the back streets and alleys to ground, always had a sense of might get my head kicked in for f*ck all. Turf Moore - Think it was the first game of the season when Coyle was in charge of us, think they did us 2-0, very nasty atmosphere and thought it was going to go off. West Brom - Hawthorns - Went a few years back with the girlfriend at the time, cut a long story short, went the wrong way round the ground, a "steward" sent us through a council estste and a one way path. got spat at and a few punches thrown at us by the fans coming up the one way path... then chased through the estate. Very Pleasant day, think we drew 1 all, they scored very late and our lot started smashing seats up, lots of trouble outside after the match Safe Grounds Boro - been numerous times and never an ounce of trouble from them, more from the police "offering" Bolton fans out... I shit you not. Sunderland - Never had any problems there, pretty tame. Lee
  7. thanks for all the replies chaps, NSU it is then and hopefully a game of street fighter 2 as well. Could be a dear day, no doubt she'll want the shirt, shorts, scarf etc.... Looking forward to it though! Feeling a bit giddy about hr to her first match. Thanks again Lee PS does spazzy darren still go to the match? I remember him getting 2ps lobbed at him and dancing for everyone years back.... I think he had a few pies lobbed at him as well or am I thinking of Lofty at Wolves?
  8. Agreed, Different world now though.... no PS3's and they think the world is over. Just easing her into attending matches regular before one family try and turn her into a Man U or Citeh supporter. Plus it gives me a good rason to get me and her a season ticket next year without the Mrs moaning too much.
  9. Cheers buddy, much appreciated. I sent a reply. Hope it got through?
  10. WSL where I used to sit was pretty tame, just old codgers having a good moan every match.
  11. Thats what I heard.... I'm thinking this will be best for her,or maybe she'll be good for 90 minutes and sit still...... hmmmm.
  12. Yeah, its Lee My bad!! North stand upper it should be. He used to sit near me in WSL but moved last season, reckons there plenty going on for the kids in the concourse? Arcade games etc. Not sure if it was a one off, but he was sure they had plenty going on. I'll avoid the naughty corner of ESL with her. Ears too young to hear some words yet......
  13. Afternoon chaps / Ladies, Thinking of taking my daughter to her first home match at the end of the month, she just turned 3, was thinking Hudderfields at home on the 29th. Had a season ticket for 15 years in WSL but gave it up when my second sprogg came along a year ago, still go to the odd match when I can. Question being, I see the price for under 18 is £10, is there any lower prices? I'm sure a couple of years back they did under 12'sfor a fiver or something. Just being a tight arse, if its a tenner for her then so be it, I think the adult is 25 notes. Next question, having only sat in WSL or WSU since 1999, where's best for kiddies these days, a mate said South stand upper? if the kids get bored they have games in the concourse? not sure if he's talking out his arse though. cheers Lee
  14. A bury fan in work has taken a half day to go out with Burys yoof smoke bombing pubs in Bolton..... He's in his 30s!!!! Jesus.
  15. Michael Ricketts...... 2 seasons of being awesome.... then England came calling..... Never forget him doing Bartez at Old Trafford for the 2nd. Nolans first was pretty special as well.
