  1. I've had a few of these fines for one reason or another over the years.... here's my take. Unless its council land or the police who fine you Ive NEVER ever once paid one these private company fines, they tries to my MRs for over parking 4 minutes on Mattalan in Bury. I got done at Tescos in Horwich once, and the newish retail park in Rawtenstall a couple of years ago. They write to you every month or two with varying degrees of threats and in different gusies (basically paper shuffling to another desk in the same office that writes under a different debt recovery name). They use big bright yellow and red letters FINAL warning etc, we MAY prosecute etc. Fact is unless they send you a court summons (it usually costs them more than the fine to start one) don't bother responding, I find after around 3 years they give up. I was prepared to go to court and see if a judge thinks £100 for 4 minute overstay on sunday in an empty car park is 'reasonable'. So my advice until a court summons comes through (99.9% wont!) stick it in the bin. They can only go for CCJ's etc in a court and thats if you don't turn up. One of my fines started at £100 wen't up to £50 after 2 years, then down to £60 to settle immediatly, to final offer of £30. Most people are terrified by the wording and cough up, they make mllions off this. Also thoug, if the police or council fine you, just pay it if its your fault, they will take you to court and go for CCJs etc, bailifs.

Esco, can you send me the same please, Im in the EXACT same boat, MStreams, Virgin and Surfshark. Much appricited.
  5. We might be one down, but plenty of possession and going forward. I like what I’ve seen so far, we’ve watched a lot worse dross than this. Sort out some silly mistakes and we’ve got a decent team here I reckon.
  6. I’ve paid my tenner and just got receipt. I’m on a countdown screen now. I’m guessing link appears Before kick off? And you have to sign in or is it the purchase ID from the receipt you need to put in? Never used this Ifollow thing before so apologies if being stupid.

  8. Anyword on new kit launch or new sponsor? are we done with Macron / Betfred? Anyone know anything? cheers
  9. Was amazing for us until the England talk / Call up. As Steejay said, he had Wes Brown all over the shop at OT in 2001, we scored late on, he got it over Browns head and then stroked it past Bartez. Bolton fans refusing to leave the ground singing "Can we play every week" Beat them the year after too 1-0 - Nolan steals the ball of Beckham and smash!. i remember Ruud VN hitting the bar and united smashing us for the rest of the match but we hung firm. I think it was beamed back to the Reebok as well! Great days...
  10. He was decent for Newcastle - 29 goals for 80 odd appearances. 1 in 3. Better than his record for us and wasn't he half decent for west ham?

Leicester City 2 all at home. Nasty game. Robbie savage could of gone within 30 seconds for smashing Colin Hendry, then Warhurst straight red for smashing Savage. Rickets own goal.... then Brian Dean scored after a Jussi Blunder for 2 nil, then Dean Holdsworth went for doing savage as well a few mins after Warhurst. 9 men and 2 nil down... then the fight back. Savage brought off for his own safety by Dave Bassett. Nolan makes it 2-1 before half time..... Muzzi Izzet sent off for them in the 2nd half for nothing more than standard fowl at best but the crowd were like animals and the ref sent him off. 4 mins of stoppage time.... Rickets popped up with the last seconds of the game to make it 2 all. Nobody left the ground early that day. Allardyce and us all celebrating like we'd won the league. Great day!
  12. PM'd you

Personally I'm glad KA is running the show. We were a nats whisker away from going under. Yes we are in the financial shit due to the ongoing saga with Blue Marble loan and DH's share. Its refreshing that the chairman keeps us up to date every week, numerous times a week if he feels needed. He addresses issues and so far I've no reason to believe he's doing but a great job considering the mess he took on. He's renegotiated the catering contracts which were 80% against us by all accounts, he's brought in additional sponsorship. Shipped out the silly money players. Yes we've had numerous HMRC winding up orders but he's just delayed payment and then sorted it. Hes a business man and he's doing his best to get us back on an even keel, like him or not I give credit where its due. Mark Isles of BEN is not helping the situation with some of the crap being printed. KA has said numerous times he'd rather not have to air "Dirty Laundry" or have to comment on everything, but he feels the need to defend the club and himself by some of stuff printed. As for his son tweeting about transfers, I couldn't give a toss. When a player is officially signed and we see it with our owns then I give a toss. As for the supports trust, I'll worry about them when they are in running the club, which will be never. I'll take 20th place right now this season and will back KA and PP all the way, we've through enough crap without the supporters being divided because of a lot of 'none stories' in the BEN. Lets get on with enjoying the matches and backing the team. Rant over.
  14. Done moved down to East Stand Lower with the 2 kids. Front row. £531 plus £30 admin for DD I presume. Told the Mrs I wouldn't renew this year as I didn't get to go to that many last season, but I feel I MUST have a season ticket or I'm a sh&t fan...
  15. Can you get LOV on Direct Debit or do you have to pony up the lot upfront?
  16. I think direct through Ticket bastard they'll choose the block, but via the home page and seating plan you can select what you want.
  17. Plenty left in the south stand next to the naughty corner. you can get 10 together if you want. Everywhere else is pretty much full.
  18. I can't give em away! No one in work will have them either.... I wonder if I should offer cash and the ticket Lowest crowd of the season tonight?
  19. Morning all! If anyone is in the Bury / Pilsworth area today (up until 4:30) and wants my season ticket for tonight (and a kids season ticket) for the family stand, let me know. Free of course! Cheers Lee
  20. Do we know how many we actually sold this season so far? I hear talk of 9k? which is pretty good for us in 3rd tier.
  21. Yeah mine arrived yesterday, just some crap about Chegwin, both tickets in the same envelope.
  22. Any Vouchers?
  23. rat, Did they come with any vouchers for replica shirts or beer tokens? Cheers Lee
  24. Spoke to the ticket office, season tickets being posted out late this week / early next week. I've bought one for little un this year as well, what was the deal last year, I vaguely recall someone saying they whacked a voucher in for a free home shirt or beer tokens or something? or am I talking sh*t? I wonder if they'll do something similar this year if I'm not wrong? Cheers Lee
  25. Jules, how much to upgrade to LOV suite? are kids allowed in? cheers Lee
