Its a gamble, sell him, defintely get relegated ,lose £5m roughly and drive more people away. Dont sell him, stay up and not lose the £5m. Chances are we're getting relegated anyway but it speaks volumes for the clubs ambition.

£4m may have been OK if it was the beginning of the window and we were able to use the money to invest in the squad. As it is I think we may as well just call the season if he goes now, as I dont see us scoring many in this league as it is never mind without our only creative player, even if he is only sporadically creative.

Playing a lone striker isnt an issue if you have couple of attacking midfielders supporting. Which is entirely down to Parky Most teams dont play 442 anymore.

We always seem to get f**ked over on transfer fees. But then we did get £6m for Madine.... If i were Connell I'd try and stay for a few years as he's unlikely to get even a slight look in at those clubs and could well end up having his career ruined like so many others have over the years.

I think Oz would have made a bigger impact if he was playing off Madine.

I was impressed with Connell, nice touch, can pick a pass and seems to have a low centre of gravity which stopped him being constantly muscled off the ball.

Considering we're supposed to be a defensive side we're not very good at it. Connelly the positive from this so far.

That certainly rings true to me, but I its always nice seeing some of the kids given a run out in the cup games. its always nice to have an eye on the future. I think the likes of Little and Matthews deserve to get a bit of game time in today.

I'd be much more interested in watching this if we give some of the more promising kids a run out.
