We always seem to get f**ked over on transfer fees. But then we did get £6m for Madine.... If i were Connell I'd try and stay for a few years as he's unlikely to get even a slight look in at those clubs and could well end up having his career ruined like so many others have over the years.

I think Oz would have made a bigger impact if he was playing off Madine.

I was impressed with Connell, nice touch, can pick a pass and seems to have a low centre of gravity which stopped him being constantly muscled off the ball.

Considering we're supposed to be a defensive side we're not very good at it. Connelly the positive from this so far.

That certainly rings true to me, but I its always nice seeing some of the kids given a run out in the cup games. its always nice to have an eye on the future. I think the likes of Little and Matthews deserve to get a bit of game time in today.

I'd be much more interested in watching this if we give some of the more promising kids a run out.

I don't remember the 80s very well thankfully. I was born December 84. Read enough to be glad I don't though. I'm resigned to league 1, I'll be happy to have a club to support when all's said and done.

I suspect he did, but he may have his reasons aside from not caring. Maybe he was calling his bluff? Either way I hope he's successful as if he is its good for the club. The behind the scenes stuff is important as it must have an impact on the performances is the pitch. Plus we need reinforcements.
