  1. I said it was majority peaceful both protests were Some people were literally arrested for hate speech though, which I assume was what Lammy was talking about. I’m by no means supportive of everything he & Starmer do, but I think they’re right to criticise the UTK movement. Just as they’ve been critical of elements of the pro Palestine movement. Ironic to say the least hearing you attempt to argue foreigners should have the same rights as British citizens 😂
  2. Aye It doesn’t need overcomplicating
  3. Who’s only at the talking stage for the PP lot ? Because TR isn’t applying for a visa to enter. The others had their visas blocked.
  4. 😂😂 Another RW ramble of made up conclusions. I think most of the public would be happy for us to stop extremists entering the country. Whether that’s for pro Palestine demos or far right ones
  5. I lost you on this bit 😂 can you try again, but a bit clearer . Thanks
  6. Not really You don’t need to be there at all to know that the organisers are spreading hate & division. You just need to look at who they are & what it is they’re saying. There’s plenty footage coming out from it as well. Lammy knows this & it’s why they had to block 11 radicals from entering the country. I never said extremists shouldn’t be targeted. Simply said your idea of banning protests was nonsense . You can allow a protest to go ahead & ban certain groups and individuals from attending. Labour have said they’re going to do that with the pro Palestine demos & spoke the other day about targeting and banning some pro Hamas groups as part of their plans to address antisemitism. So it’s just total ignorance to say he only focuses on one side. He’s hated by the pro Palestine mob as well 😂 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68040611 Majority were peaceful on Saturday, I said that on the day . Doesn’t mean the organisers aren’t spreading division though. As for those that weren’t peaceful - nothing wrong with a politician calling them out I’ll remember you need to be somewhere in person to state an opinion next time you call out some pro Palestine morons though 😂👍
  7. Don’t need to attend the march to know the organisers are doing just that. Bit of an odd argument to say you had to personally be there. Some of the speakers at the last one & this one are known for holding extremist views. Not tarring everyone there with the same brush like, but Lammy is spot on about this. Some proper dodgy funds & people spearheading the movement.
  8. You been on the wine over lunch mate ?
  9. He also claims not to be far right… Whilst being funded by far right extremists in America… & waffling on about the native English man being “replaced”… the fucking loon. A US ‘journalist’ came over to report on the march- huge online following. Spent the whole time telling everyone to prepare for civil war. Says it all that the government had to prevent 11 radicals from entering the country who were invited to the event.
  10. Some absolute morons on the march yesterday. Folk calling for British citizens to be deported. Even Tommy Robinson (who claims to have left his BNP past) openly talking about the white person being replaced. Dangerous times.
  11. 👍 fair do's I'd disagree. Think Islamic extremism is a problem, I think the state of our borders is a problem. But I'm not worried about Muslims or the spread of Islam in the UK. More concerned about cost of living and the changing climate. Each to their own Ya massive Islamaphobe x
  12. Part of the problem there - there are folk out there who hate Muslims and see them as a threat. Social media is rife with it. And tbf to Kent - i think he's just saying he doesn't see it in person or hear it in his day to day. Don't think he's saying it isn't in the news.
  13. Already answered - ignore my last post 👍
  14. What was said on here that's antisemitic ? And by who ?
  15. He’ll mean anti the government- although sadly their ethnic cleansing is supported by many in Israel. Islamophobia is rife in this country at the moment. You see it on here regularly as well. What I will say is that Jews in the UK are currently living in a lot more fear than Muslims are . It’s disgusting what’s been happening. Though it’s the not the fault of the pro Palestine or anyone criticising Israel’s behaviour
  16. Back to making stuff up again are we 😄 You’ve just tried arguing a democratic country should ban people protesting & you’re trying to turn it on me ? Nice try 😂 A fucking lunatic suggestion you might be happier living in Russia or China mate.
  17. Protest is a free democratic right of every citizen Unfortunately it sometimes costs money to police Just ridiculous to expect people to fund their own protest. Otherwise it’s only wealthy folk protesting 😄
  18. Precisely my thought when you went off on one claiming we should ban protests. If you're going on the logic that it's because it costs money - then you need to be applying that logic elsewhere as well. Another mad policy from RW
  19. There will be some on here who think it's brilliant Wouldn't be surprised to hear someone say it's about women's rights
  20. I think Labour and the Tories have been taking note of the growing discontent regarding immigration. The size of the UTK march last year was huge for a right wing demo. They got their point across, as much as I disagree with it. Plenty examples throughout British history of protest changing things. Plenty examples of it turning folk of your cause as well fwiw
  21. Yes it's shit at times and you'd rather have police time and resources spent elsewhere. But you can't ban protest. It's a fundamental of every democracy. You're literally making a case for living under an authoritative regime. Quick google search tells me football policing is still costing the taxpayer tens of millions a year after club contributions. Do we ban that as well because it's a waste of police time?
  22. Ace Sure am mate. Flights booked from Scotland. Trains looked a nightmare with rail replacement for the virgin train to London. Will dm you
  23. Where’s best location to get seats for this spot then ? Middle tier ?
  24. No idea how anyone can honestly think it’s fine to ban protests just because they’re expensive to police Yes if a group are persistently being aggressive & causing criminal damage. But banning peaceful protest (of which both were yesterday) is just authoritarian nonsense. Can’t get much more anti British than that. Credit to the police yesterday. Incredible operation. They were helped by the fact the vast majority on both sides weren’t there to cause trouble
  25. Very very odd
