The entire premise of a new buyer is trash in my opinion. They won't even have DD on the financials. It's just yet more absolute nonsense. The deals basically there now. FV have had their cards close to their chest throughout this process. I can't see them making public appearances or promising to speak to fans Saturday, unless they were certain it would be done. There is absolutely no way the EFL would entertain another buyer at this stage. Again, that's just my opinion, but I am absolutely bored of Nixon being given the time of day with his conspiracy theories that are the complete antithesis to the reality of the current situation. I just want this deal announced ASAP so his bull can be evidenced for all to see.

This. A million times over. The lad up front for us looked energetic and worked his socks off, but their centre backs had him in their pocket physicality wise. All we needed was someone at the top end of the pitch to hold it a bit more to get us up the field. Said the same thing yesterday - I genuinely think had he have played,we could have got something yesterday. That being said, you could see what we were trying to do in terms of pass it from the back, but I'm just not sure Parky can ever get that right. It doesn't suit him. When we tried it last season we got hammered every week. If that's the style we want to adopt, then I don't think he's the man to instill it. The players looked lost trying to work it through midfield. I know there was some youth in there but even the basics of pass and move weren't really there and a lot of that does come down to coaching

I'm not against Parky staying either. The priority has to be the takeover, and signings. We need bodies in ASAP

It just seemed odd at the time, even the Wycombe manager came over to us. Either way, his quotes don't sound very confident at all. I think the EFL will be lenient - they said as much on Radio Manchester a few nights ago. If we play the kids tomorrow that compromises the integrity of the game

The insolvency side is a completely distinct service to the audit, with information barriers and different teams. Even still, I know I wouldn't be posting the types of things like that on there. As far as I am aware though, Cowgill only perform audit services. The last published accounts of Burnden Leisure indicate there were no non audit services. Of course this could have changed since the year end of June 17. I'm not questioning the gents ethical practice/ independence but I know I wouldn't be risking it if I was in their shoes.

The EFL chairwoman said on the radio a few nights ago they would do all they could to assist with registrations. I think we could get some tomorrow morning if thats the case.

Administrator has said its done. The only doubt I had was that it came out just after LOV published a story saying players refused to travel before being paid. That being said, it would really be something for an admin to confirm to numerous individuals that the deal had been fully agreed if it hadnt. I think we can dare to believe - but I will be gutted if it doesn't happen today
