I am taking my 8 year old to the Notts match on Sunday it will be his first live cricket match so hope the weather holds and heard on the radio that Freddie might be playing Sunday which would be a good bonus.

My eldest is about 3 or 4 years away from hitting the pubs and clubs round Bolton (he is nearly 3 now O:) ) as a parent it does make you wonder when you see bollocks sentences like this for deliberately glassing someone. Usual shite justice for everyone but the victim.

I sent an e-mail to the club at the end of last season criticising them for not giving the fans the opportunity to give Bruno and JJ a proper send off as in their own ways they have both played a massive part in our recent history. To be fair to the club they did reply and explained while it was difficult they agreed with my point and would look at it . So maybe if they are not playing for their respective new clubs they might appear at the Reebok for a send off.

Agree with the general theme on here. Heskey is a real donkey and not worth anywhere near ??5.5 m they let Roberts go for less than that so presumably are looking for more goals from Heskey than Roberts got last season which just ain't going to happen. I bet Gold / Bruce couldn't believe their luck when that offer landed.

The info we have for Dave Felgate is through just4keepers.com and all it really says is that he does coaching in Bolton and from memory 3 other places. I know what you mean Yatesy but he is a bit pants as an outfield player so its keeper or having to slave 9 to 5 like the rest of us mugs so got to be worth a try for the lad ? I just hope Dave doesn't remember any of the abuse I used to hurl at him for his catching on crosses :-#

OK I know I haven't posted on here for ages and am probably going to get a torrent of abuse with my partner in crime already here but anyway I will try with a serious question as there seems to be a few football players on here. My step lad has been told that it is worth his while to get some goalkeeping coaching so we are trying to get him on some of the Dave Felgate coaching. Does anyone know if it is any good or how much it costs etc ? Also he has been advised he is good enough to get in an academy (he is 12 nearly 13) but have no real idea how they work, how often they have to attend etc. Anyone had any experience of them ? Feel free to pm me if this thread degenerates into abuse.

Neither me or Mrs R have been on this board before today. Get your site admin to check our IP addresses and sure they will be completely different to whoever you think we are. Hard to defend Nicky Hunt while he is actually fleet of foot it takes that long for a message to get from his brain it nullifies the advantage. Well for what it is worth I reckon we should sign Robbie Savage and let them have Speed in exchange. He can tackle, drives the team forward and most importantly he can actually run.
