7000 season ticket holders

did not attend on Saturday against Foolham, according to our chairman Mr. Phillip Gartside.

I have one question: how does he know 7000 didn't come? I went with my wife and son, 2 of us are season ticket holders, but I bought my ticket the day before the game, paid in cash and sat in a different stand than usual. He doesn't know whether we went or not.

and therein lies another failure in our use of the soooooper doooooper teamcard technology

I to was there but didn't use my season ticket as they 'sold' my seat #-o

SAME HERE.....me the brother in law and 3 of my sprogs went paid ont day.sat in lofthouse sted of B E N lower.so no trace of our 5 season tickets

Was he not just having a scientific stab in the dark with his figure?

That was my scientific analysis of the situation :-s

That's 7 up to now, that leaves 6993

Anyone else to make it interesting?

actually it doesn't

i don't think #-o

ian?

Me & the daughter sat in my mate's two seats, who sat on the row behind. One of my mate's was in the lion of vienna for a change - he's a ST holder in West Lower (or the morgue as Satan prefers to call it), but took his missus who isn't.

Now, who didn't have rice?

Who's on first base

i don't think #-o

ian?

there is nothing interesting in this thread.

you're right

I don't dispute that many season ticket holders didn't go, I just wonderd where the club conjured this magical 7000 figure from. It could well have been 10,000.

They can not expect a decent turnout to a competition they have not taken seriously in the last 4 years. If they have come out and said they were putting a decent side out, I'm sure more would have turned out. Also, if Derby had won thier replay, they would have taken the full 4200 allocation they'd have been entitled to and there'd have been 20,000 on and there wouldn't have been all the fuss in the press.

I think the Fulham factor had summat to do with it - no win in 10 until Saturday

i got my own seat in north stand lower.but didnt sit in it

because a few lads who sit in west stand upper came in

n/stand cause it was cheaper&i sut with them.now then

gartside pick the bones out of that.(missed colin) :D/

dont worry i will be back in the B E N for next cup game...... :bb :bb

Quote Big Sam "But every season ticket holder - and we've got 21,000".

Thought we were capping it at 20,000? :-#

Another problem might be the amount of freebies they give out for league games.

Dependant on the amount of Goldline tickets sold, up to 4 complimentaries! None for Cup matches.

When we tried to get tickets for our usual seats, we were told that the East Upper would be closed for the game. Which doesn't really bode well for the capacity, so they shouldn't be whinging about less fans when they shut half the bloody ground.

The root of the problem goes back further though... I still have nightmares about the Tranmere game last year, and when you hear that "Sam will be ringing the changes for the cup game" again, it doesn't help either. Who cares if the price is lower, I want to go to see us win, or at the very least try to win.

Having said all that, I would have gone on Saturday but I had something else on.
