March 9, 200521 yr how much do these people get nowadays? does it vary on the severity of their nazi beleifs and behavior?
March 9, 200521 yr Author methinks a 6 year banning order might hinder my application somewhat 8-[ a bloke at work reckoned at old trafford they got ??60 a man (or woman, invalid, ethnic, horse etc if we're being PC).
March 9, 200521 yr Apparently most at Old Garage dont get paid, its supposed to be an Honour, the private ones will get paid though
March 9, 200521 yr Was about ??20 a "man". At the England Wales game at OT, about 40 "stewards" walked out and only 1 of them looked like they could even speak English.
March 9, 200521 yr I think it is about ??25 but maybe more. They are the saddest people in the world. I have heard that most of them collect replica guns and nazi memorabilia. They also have menial jobs so they thrive on the uniform/power trip they get when they steward at games. Oh and they also like being tortured in Madame Whiplash's dungeon on a Saturday night. Just what I have heard.
March 9, 200521 yr Author so we have a bengali stewarding some bloke from Powys who insists on only conversing in welsh. interesting
March 10, 200521 yr i used to steward at cov city in my student days! it was about 15 quid a match! the vast majority of the steward were supporters of the club! the right bastards where the agency stewards! complete cocks they were!
March 10, 200521 yr I don't know what the induction or training methods are, but they always manage to raise disorder levels near us in the ESL. They come over telling everyone to sit down each week. Then go and stand at the top of the tunnel (ooh-err) blocking the view down the to bottom corner in front of the North Stand. Without failure, someone near me shouts "move you red ginger we can't see" - to which they come over and ask people to sit down again. And so on. And so on.
March 10, 200521 yr Just a thought, but if you did as the steward asked in the first place, they wouldn't have to "bother" you during the game.
March 10, 200521 yr Just a thought, but if you did as the steward asked in the first place, they wouldn't have to "bother" you during the game. Thats a very PC attitude..... ..... and I don't mean politically correct!
March 10, 200521 yr The problem is that in the ESL we sometimes get a little bit passionate and carried away during a game!! and get to our feet when say Whites are attacking. This then causes the stewards to be up and down like a brides nightie. Those with some common sense (rare) will wait a short while before asking everyone to sit down but the majority of these clowns are at you straight away. Thus the majority of people who are sat down on the edge of the rows get distracted by the stewards and like Mr. Smiley says can't see much. Don't forget the ESL is not like the jolly flask/toffees/cakes/tea and biscuits parts of the Reebok.
March 10, 200521 yr ESL ones towards the away end near us are a joke I mean when you get them starting at the top and working down the rows and then you try to point out to them that starting at the bottom might be better and they just look at you all gormless like and so you try to be helpful and use the analogy of would you start sweeping your stairs at the top or the bottom and they still look gormless and the gypo looking one with the ear ring stands in front of you and when you say you cant see he says sits down now and you think who the fcuk are you talking to you sad red ginger and then everyone stands up at that precise moment anyhow as we're attacking and of course not forgetting that this is actually quite legal like which then begs the question how can it be a ragging safety issue if its legal to stand up briefly during an exiting passage of play then surely its more dangerous then than any other time and besides that surely if theres a ragging bomb scare or summat then you'd have to stand up and get out pretty quick I mean we all remember the Bradford fire dont we I can just imagine our cunts shouting sit down as the flames lick round their feet so whats that all about then Alfie plus of course we have the best legroom in the country and so the dangers inherant in standing up are minimal of course the red ginger behind you cant see but then as I pointed out earlier we are averaging the same number of points per home game as in the season we got relegated and far fewer goals and so its probably a blessing Kaku in disguise that they cant see anyhow and besides everyone in that bit of the ESL is pissed up anyhow and even if you're at the very back they make you sit down as you're blocking the views of the adverts even though thats bollocks and while i'm on the subject of adverts I wish they'd stop the stupid ragging adverts on the big screen when you're trying to see a replay of summat interesting oh ho very funny keeprs just made a save and would you credit it and advert for the Chequerbent Building Society comes up which makes you wonder what would happen if someone put the boot in on the keeper and the fucker's pissing blood for a week how would they tie that in with an advert? What do you all think?
March 10, 200521 yr Just a thought, but if you did as the steward asked in the first place, they wouldn't have to "bother" you during the game. what's that you said? http://www.moviewavs.com/cgi-bin/spark.cgi...03_yehright.wav
March 10, 200521 yr I know, i sit in the ESL. All I am saying is that the stewards are only following orders and directives that are set. And standing up and hurling abuse at them isn't going to change anything. Shouting abuse at the stewards has got nothing to do with passion. Go and join the chavs in a rendition of "stand up if you hate stewards"
March 10, 200521 yr I'm speechless.......................but agree with everything you say SatanGreavsie
March 10, 200521 yr Wonder how much those special agent "meatheads" where on at City. Anyone see that huge one with the blonde strikes in his hair, shaven eye brows and had a Russian look about him? He was stood next to me most of half time, had me shittin my kecks, dint stop me singing though
March 10, 200521 yr The thing is football did a kneejerk reaction to past tragedies and insisted on all seater stadiums. The sensible thing of course is to have a standing area so that those who want to stand and mix with their mates can go there. People who want to sit can then do so without the hindrance of the person in front standing and blocking their view. I said at the time that even if you have all seater stadiums it is impossible to make people sit down if they insist on standing.
March 10, 200521 yr And if...there was a fire or other disaster, would`nt the seats be in the way and cause more evacuation problems
March 10, 200521 yr And if...there was a fire or other disaster, would`nt the seats be in the way and cause more evacuation problems thats what I said!
March 10, 200521 yr You need to apply logic to your complaints. In ther event of a fire, there will be no seats. They will melt and emit toxic fumes. These will kill you, not the flames. Fire kills in minutes, smoke kills in seconds! PS Satan: another good week for the Spanish teams!
March 10, 200521 yr PS Satan: another good week for the Spanish teams! This is the only Spanish I'm fussed about
March 10, 200521 yr PS Satan: another good week for the Spanish teams! Are you recalling your discussion with Mr Munkano? http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/viewtop...ighlight=#94780
