The new union on canal street is pretty good.

Dead cheap and the locals are friendly.

Sawyers on Deansgate.

Look out for big mobs of reds, ready to pounce on unsuspecting whites, eh Brixton? "I'm in the ambulance now" :D

I always end of spending ?????? in manchester - even cider's expensive in most places in the printworks - llyods is cheap though..used to work there a while back

From the Printworks you can always head towards Deansgate.

Moon under the sea and t'other bars are trendy.

Used to go in atlas bar many moons ago, next to deansate train station

if only the hac was still open :-({|= had a few good nights in there

Heard you loved it in the Hac,Bigtoe :-k

(that old chestnut)

Atlas is closed for refurb at the mo, Moon Under The Water is a Wetherspoons so can't be trendy. Bars on Lloyd St are worth a look, I like Rain Bar but I'm fucked if I could explain where it is.

next to the Jurys hotel near G-Mex.

Corbieres for a few bottles of Superbok then onto South for a night of Clint Boons fave records....

Clint Boon is the man - of that there is no doubt.

northern 1/4

that's the place fert be

Met him in the Hac when watching King of the Slum, Rig were supporting and had supported the Inspirals at the International II. Went to that and Widnes (night before), Clint said they knew that people would do both so played totally different sets. Top bloke, top band.

get your mate to pay :D

Lloyd's is cheap and has music on. Avoid Norwegian Blue, shit.

If you want a trendy night get a Jola to Deansgate Locks. Expensive but plenty of posh birds with fcuk all on.

Top tip - if you're planning on staying til 2 book a taxi home early otherwise you'll be stuck there cos it's a bastard to try and get one at that time, listen to your Dad.

Start at The Castle on Oldham Street (it is quite cheap :D )- after that anywhere will seem perfect
