A few papers are carrying the story that we are again interested in signing Peter Crouch...

Personally I would prefer we were interested in Henri Camara at Southampton as I believe it would be difficult for Crouch to overcome the amount of 'cruel' stick he has always got at the Reebok. He might not wanna come either!

Would it still be acceptable for me to shout "freeeeaakk" everytime he touched the ball?

Southampton have a big surplus of players who they will want to offload and reduce their wage bill. I think Crouch would be a good signing for us. Don't forget he has just made the England squad and there will be less chance of him staying there if he is playing outside the Premiership. That and the lure of European football could tempt him.

The England call will send his valuation up despite dropping down a division, add to the fact that he is still only very young and only recently signed for the Saints - plus he's a "freeeaakkk" so the extra money we would earn from Barnum during the close season will have to be taken into account by Southampton

think crouch would be a good addition to the squad but i think other teams will be thinking exactly the same...
