A good idea, thousands of Mosque go'ers in Bolton and very few Wanderers. You can see the 5-a-side pitch off Blackburn Road from Total Fitness, dozens of Asians on there, never see a Bolton top though [-X

an inter church one would need to be about 3 a side, unless the catholics join in

There could be a reason for that.

 

Once walked into a pub full of Wanderers fans with a mate who is an "Asian white".

 

Some f??cking pleb pipes up with "I'd rather be a asian than a Manc".

 

Probably thought he was being complimentary.

 

Think this is a great idea. Our average attendance went down last season.

 

And as for the inter-church thing. Yeah right.

They should have an inter-bred tournament for anyone from Bradshaw

Erm yes I know that. Not sure what that has to do with my post.

 

It was stated that not many Asians seem to support Bolton.

 

From personal experience I suggested a reason why this has been the case. Thankfully I think things are getting better.

 

Any racist Asian is unlikely to come and wouldn't be welcome. Hopefully the same goes for racist white folk.

Maybe that has more to do with the lack of footballers from their background?

Agree, they will be using this as a recruitment campaign to fill the Reebok more next season. If the "white" half of Bolton cannot be bothered getting off their arses and backing their home town team during one of the most successful periods in the clubs history ever, then feck 'em, get Th'asians in.
