gartside on radio 5 says we have sold 15,000 tickets only, it is disappointing but thats what you get when the game is live on T.V. you cannot have it both ways.

Why are people surprised at what has been described as going to be a ???piss poor turn out??? for tonight???s game? OK it???s our first ever game in Europe but 15 or 16k is a good turn out against a team that no one has heard of (and who will bring no fans), and which is live on terrestrial TV. If this European lark does become more of a regular thing then I would be very surprised if we get anywhere close to 16k in a first round game against another team that we haven???t heard of. Whatever the attendance is it will still be 5k more than Juventus get in some of their Champions League games.

UEFA cup game is was but everything about last night, apart from the Bulgars singing the chicken song all night, had the feeling of a FA Cup 5th round game. People were even leaving with 15mins to go in what was our first and possibly last ever european tie at home

Right, I normally shake my head when I read you all moaning about buying Food/Beer etc at half time. I never have any problem when Im in my season ticket seats. Go after the half time whistle and im back just as there coming out, always have whatever I want.

 

But...Last fcukin night, in the south stand (paid on gate) went after the half time whistle and didnt get back until 15 minutes into the 2nd half.

 

When I eventually got served they had no food left whatsoever. So I asked for a Red Bull, the fcukin guy who couldnt s[eak a word of eEnglish, could not underfcukin stand what I mean when I asked for a Red Bull, after at least 5 times of saying it, I gave up and asked the blonde bird instead who got it me for ??2.
