Dan,

Unfortunately positional play is a large proportion of playing full back! ](*,)

He makes a match saving tackle = lucky

Our defense conceeds a goal = Hunt to blame, kill him

what the fcuk, do you know anything about football??

Hunt is a decent young, quick full back. Its a shame a lot of bolton fans don't actually understand the game enough to recognise that.

Next time he plays, forget all your previous judgements and watch what he actually does, without adding your personal opinion, eg "lucky" tackles and "fortunate" crosses. You might learn something.

=D> =D> =D>

His real problem is not being a slightly more modest lad. From what I've heard - and as such this is only second hand - he's a bit of a show-off when out. Likes the world to know who he is and what he does for a living. If he could be a little less af a prat off the pitch I'm sure more fans would appreciate his undoubted talents. He could learn a lot about how to behave off the field from someone like Kevin Nolan.

tbh michael, i don't hang around near our superstars, doesn't float my boat, so i don't care if he's and obnoxious scrote and shagging the pope, queen and ruth kelly

If he's shagging them, then I will take his bird... :D

don't get me wrong i don't think he is our answer to Phil Brown yet :D , but i just think he does decent job for us and will go on to be a decent player, he gives us an extra dimension with his forward play, but like i said needs to get better defensively and position wise

I went to high school with him, well a year below. He was cocky there. He actually trains with a local team sometimes that my brother plays for.

A young lad asked him for an autograph once and he just walked off and left the lad in tears.

See him in the bookies sometimes, would rather not say a word to him!

It's all well and good saying that Nicky Hunt will improve, but he's had it when he's up against a fast or tricky winger, shows players inside and can't head a ball. His passing is woeful as well.

Now O'Brien looks a hell of a lot better than him playing out of position and he's 3 years younger. So for me saying Hunt is 'potential' means nothing. He's had 3 years of first team football, and still looks shaky. Isn't that enough?

nicky hunt - arrogant red ginger FACT.

at the players do last season was the one player who would nt have a laugh with the fans.

one the players confirmed thsi view of him.

there again he is young lad playing porfessional football so not that surprising he is slightly arrogant.

as a player is more than adequate as a right back, and seems to be suffering for the local boy syndrome as discovered by julian darby.

would nt be bolton fans if there was nt a scapegoat in the team.

decent tackle...about all he has done all season apart from the cross for dioufs goal against plovdiv.

Newcastle home

thats 2 assists right there

if he does get back in the team with OB moving to holding role lets see how many the back 5 ship. Before Hunt got injured we were conceding shitloads inlcuding silly vital goals at villa and everton.

I thought he looked like Maggot off Big Brother with his new streaks :D
