February 9, 200620 yr Showed the Marseille heading Totty boys at our 5-a-side match last night the T-Shirt design. Superb but as a few of them said, the wording on the back does not make sense: ...and the RAF from Bolton shot THEM down. Surely using the word THEM means the song ends after the first verse of '10 German Bombers' because they are all shot down. The song and T shirt should read: and the RAF from Bolton shot ONE down. Then the next verse of '9 German Bombers' etc etc makes sense! Fussy I know but best to be right on these things. Its like the 'PIN number' thread!!
February 9, 200620 yr Yatesy - you are right. Ani spotted this first time around and said the change needed to be made. He also spotted that the typeface was Bauhaus which is a German font and therefore not very patriotic. Hence Traf is getting the artwork amended accordingly.
February 9, 200620 yr Author The artwork has already been modified, as has the font. The mock-up image was the original effort from a while ago, which I was just using to guage interest.

I also distinctly remeber the concept of the t-shirts and designs thereof originating from an open (despite drunken) conversation involving yourself, myself and several others, Brixton including. whilst on a UEFA jolly.
I'm just wondering which of the mods removed it.
