Serious point here.

Got to so say the west ham numbers for tomorrows game are very impressive.

Not sure why they are so enthuisiastic for the game as can never remember huge numbers of them in the past other than 'that' game.

but i for one will doff my cloth cap to their support.

not sure of any other non local teams who would bring so many, including spurs, arsenal and chelsea in that.

right i have been nice, now fcuk off eh :D

did that hurt?

we've been selling out our away allocations very quickly all season, often almost entirely to priority application by post and fax and only then to people with four or five away points and upwards

sure it helps we're playing attractive and gutsy football, even when we lose

but there it is, we have an enthusiastic and numerous away support

We took 7k to Wigan 2 years ago and 5k to Preston for league games.

Our away support up north has always been pretty good.

Shit club no fans! shit club no fans!

Just warming up

I prefer 'nice ground no fans!!' cant remember who sang that to us but it made me chuckle!!

But it's not a nice ground. It's a shit soullessground in the middle of a retail park. Give me Burden any day (pre sainsburys).

Ah whatever, you know what i mean. Burden was a proper ground.

I miss terracing, proper floodlights, terraced houses close to the ground, side streets, proper pubs not chains, stands built 30 years apart that don't match, blah blah blah

They refused to serve me alcohol in that supermarket back in 1995 cos I was wearing a football shirt and the pub wouldnt let us in either, so I was forced to watch us play without a drink...
