So bloody negative

Lost last two games with pathetic substitution decisions. Diouf should have come on in both. Has he had a fall out because if he is fully fit as you would assume he is then these decisions are woeful and costing us a lot of money and points.

Protecting a draw. Can he not see that draws are no use. You may as well lose two and win one as draw three.

It was like watching a game of rugby where the ball went sideways constantly because there was no outlet, no runner. For a home team that is simply not good enough.

And again another lead tossed away. How many times this season have we lost a lead?

Dont win at brum and europe is off.

But according to most people we should be happy with 8th. Cant see it myself.

Always the bridesmaid...............

The way the FA cup has panned out has ballsed things up a touch for us!

we need to get around 4/5 points at the very least from the next 3 games, knowing bolton we'll get beat by brum and beat chelski!

I wouldn't put it as strongly as that but I agree that Allardyce has been too defensive playing to hold on to a draw when the opposition are going for 3 points. We don't have the players to play these tactics. We have some brilliant creative and attack minded players so why not play to their strengths instead of nullifying them?

As for always the bridesmaid that's a load of bollox. I presume Chelsea and Liverpool are the brides and we are already in dreamland.

What gives us the right to be higher than Wolves, Huddersfield, Sunderland, Preston and Ipswich for example. We are all pissed off after yesterday but we need to get real.

When United put on RVN we should have put on Diouf.

United had to win at all costs and were prepared to leave gaps at the back.

We just played into their hands by letting them attack us.

Whether Diouf is good enough to alter the course of a game like that is debatable though.

I agree 100%

Sam has been arseholing for the next managers job at Old Trafford but as a tactition he doesn't come close to that bloke who drinks a lot of whiskey and has the job at the moment.

in the end sam copied fergusons tactics of putting on 2 strikers, i doubt he would have done that if ferguson would not have shown him the way.

in the end
You are right, 88 minutes wasn't it.

For fooks sake

On current form and as much as it pains me to say it, Man U are the best team in the country. We've been beaten 2-1 by them. Many better teams will play worse against them and get beat heavier.

Bolton's back 4 isn't as quick as the 4 forwards United had yesterday - FACT. If we'd carried on going at them, they would've pinged us on the break at will, so we had to change things and try and be more solid. I think Allardyce was wrong to bring on Hunt, BUT if we'd got a point yesterday it would've been seen as a brave and successful move.

We've been beat at home by United - if thats the worst thing that happens to me in 2006 - wont be a bad fcuking year.

My only qualm at the moment is that Big Sam criticised Stelios for speaking publically about his ambitions......... what the fcuk has he been doing for the last 3 months?? How can that not affect the players who only came here because of him and his ways??? He should shut his mouth and get on with the job he is paid to do and the job which put him in the England frame in the first place.

Good day to you.

We`ll never find out unless its tried

Didn't he make his debut for us coming on as a sub at H/T against the scum last year ?. And changed the game in our favour ?

our main problem is lack of pace going forward

So who would we take off. A defender, that would leave gaps at the back for United's extra attacker to exploit. A forward, wouldn't have changed the shape of the team.

Is it just me that sees the irony in TonyCee starting a thread titled 'so bloody negative'

I thought it was gonna be an admission of guilt :D

My first choice would have been Nolan who was doing nothing and my second choice Speed.
