Fowler's record away from Anfield is awful and he would not fit into our formation and style of play.

 

Gudjohnsen should remember the saying about never going back. He will be a shadow of the player we knew. His slide towards the end of his career has started. He was first choice for Chelski at the start of season and now is part of the second string. Not worth anything like ??3M + the ??40k a week he will want.

Neither have any pace so its a no from me. I would have Eidur if we still have money left after filling the required slots that have been mentioned on another thread

hmm, gudjohnsen is twice the player he was when he left us. sorry but way out of our budget and i dont think would come anyway.

 

fowler is more our kind of signing but cant see him on the wing or up top on his own...

Gudjohnsen by a mile imo,Fowler might be ok if we ever played with a couple of wingers.

Gudjohnsen would be tremendous for us IMHO. Could play in four positions i.e. Nakata, Stelios, Davies, Borgetti as we lined up against Spurs and be better or as good as we have now in each. Still only 27 and knows the Prem and Sam.

 

Fowler a no. Too old, too slow, and too much allegiance to Liverpool to be effective for us.

Wouldn't touch Fowler with a shitty stick. No pace and too old, a one club man only.

 

Eidur, is a great player - flashes of brilliance. But again isn't going to fit to our style of player...Plus he will be pricey and wages would be sky high.

I honestly don't think he would, but its all about opinions isn't it. I agree with Yatesy.

 

Think maybe Eidur has had his best years, plus he is pricey. Isn't that quick and from i remember he wasn't one to track back and win the ball when he lost it.

 

Eidur was a top top player for us and i really liked him, just think for that kind of money we could get someone better suited.....

maybe we could get eidur on loan?

Eidur on loan, he loves Bolton and would love a return. Fowler would be abit of a gamble, 1 year deal??
