You can't compare Claude Makelele and fcuking Robbie Savage. They both disrupt teams rythmn's but Makelele does it by using exceptional footballing skills and Savage does it by being a complete fcuking pussy!!

yet we have let 4 midfielders and a previously inspirational defender go

ok get a striker in at the arse end of the transfer window once the rest of the squad is sorted and see how much money we have left but not as the first priority

because we go from season to season finding defenders/midfielders on bosmans/the cheap and do well with this route and no doubt will again this summer

 

we've never found a top quality striker on the cheap

 

and after last season I think we started to realise how further we could go with an prolific (i.e. expsenive) forward - hence why one of them is a priority
