June 28, 200620 yr Argentina are overpriced but i wouldnt touch this game for nothing,i cannot remember looking as forward too a non bolton game since this one. for me it could go either way,extra time or penalities look a good possabilty but i wouldnt like to be betting big on a winner in 90 minutes.

I've read this 3 times and I don't understand what you mean My tip would be to lay Germany in 90 minutes, I think the Argies are the best team in the tournament. I'm not sure whether you are agreeing with me or not

So do you think the price on Argentina to win on betfair will shorten by the time off kick off on friday,i havent that much experience using betfair so dont know how the betting will end up. but when bookies are offering 7/4 at best. 11/5 seems a massive price. i have a feeling all the big money will come for Argentina before the game and the price on betfair will drop to around the 7/4 mark

June 29, 200620 yr I have taken 3.2 on the Argies on Betfair on the basis that the bookies odds are dropping e.g. 2.5 on Totesport so it's a good value bet.
June 29, 200620 yr i have put ??500 on argentina to win @ 9/4 on betdaq. i havent decided if i am going to lay some of it or all of it off yet. the value of 9/4 seems just too good to miss on a team who have been so impressive and look the best team in the world. Germany look good but they havent played no one and havent beaten a decent side for years.

I agree with everything you are saying here scaz. If anyone wants to back Germany with me at 7/4 to win in 90 mins I will snatch their hands off it is a bad price against a team that has had difficult matches already. Of course the home crowd is worth something but not 2 goals [-XGoing back to the 9/4 price for Argy before the off, logic says it should be shorter but with only one day to kick-off I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed at that price. On a slightly different subject, if Argentina win the world cup I have promised myself that I won't have another bet for 6 months.
