get okocha back

now the hamman deal has fell through, and with campo signed for the holding roll think we should sign okocha for 1 year and take a chance with a midfielder who is young and has potential from either overseas or lower down the leagues.

Oh he would if it was the best deal on the table.

However, would you let PG deal to you when playing poker :-k

How was he treated?

He wanted more than we were willing to offer, that's the way it goes. I don't see many English clubs queuing up to offer him what he wants.

I for one would like to see him comeback, but a line has been drawn by both parties and I can't see either moving.

As in any relationship..... NEVER GO BACK.

he will end up at city, wigan, everton, blackburn or maybe even sheff utd

signing either just before the season starts or late august

whichever club is the most desparate after not signing their top targets will take the plunge

I agree, and it's been at the back of my mind ever since he left.

The lad was never the most mobile, I can't see what he could have lost from his game.

O'Brien should be the back up in midfield and we should look for cover at full back IMO

the way it is going we are most desperate.

No.

There's also the prospect of the 4 smaller clubs in Serie B being promoted to Serie A and needing a star midfielder with no fee.

Or on the other hand, Juve or Milan wanting an experienced midfielder for their seasons in B & C.
