Salford Trotter Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=40...+Saviola+switch This must put us in a strong position to sign him and with the Toon struggling to qualify for the Uefa Cup I can't see them jumping ahead of us in the queue. He has gotta be worth ??4m of anyone's money!
HomerJay Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 if its a choice between non european-newcastle and non-european bolton offering the same wage, then theres only one winner there im afraid... although saviola would be more or less 1st choice at bolton, not sure if he would at toon, once owens fit..
stinkythefrog Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 I had him down as a bang on cert to go to Arsenal maybe we do have a chance after all.

I'm not so sure, Sam is pretty good at selling the club and when it comes to stuff like this I can see Sam being far more presuasive than Roeder just hope he doesn't like big stadiums
jimmyjoojar Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Well he played at Monaco and their stadium is no bigger than ours, in fact it looks like some sort of bizarre architect wet dream!

Traf Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 And the Reebok is in sunny Horwich surrounded by lovely green countryside. How could he not want to move here?
