He's been interviewed before as have most managers. No doubt they'll all be interviewed again.

I think the net is finally closing on Sam. There isn't long left on this investigation.

 

This will tarnish him for years, I jut hope the club doesn't get reprimanded. The last thing we need is a point deduction or transfer ban.

Even if he is found guilty of something, I'm not sure the club can be punished, as surely any illegal payments are not known about by the club. I would imagine the punishment would be directed straight at Allardyce with him getting a whacking great fine and being banned from football for a period of time. This is what happened to George Graham when he was caught, so a precident has already been set..............hopefully

thought I read at weekend that MacLaren has also been interviewed and is now co-operating with the investigation

 

having recently parted company with his agent for dodgy comments and 'boro also refusing to deal with him, I'd say he has something to fear, potentially.

 

still think that the whole investigation will get swept under the carpet and new rules and regulations will come into being for future
