As for you being bored of the thread,ok thats fair enough everyone is entitled to their opinion(you did reply enough times,so maybe you just got bored of your own voice) - but i wanted to hear others opinions and read their comments,and with 430odd views and 50 odd replies in just over 24 hours, it certainly was a subject worthy of debate imo.

To be honest, I didn't want to come across as such a bloody bore. Yes, we do disagree but its healthy. I don't always agree with my friends (espcially the Tories ones!) but I quite enjoy these debates - online or in the pub!

Blair WAS a breath of fresh air in the late 90s and we certainly needed New Labour as a country (personal view, before I get further insults!!!) but why oh why has he continually led the Labour party down this road of appeasment of America, further isolating us from Europe, our real global partners?

 

Iraq was a huge error and appointing Brown would be a massive long term error for the Labour party, espcially with the Tories having a resurgance. Now Hilary Benn, he's the man!
