CHELSEA look close to signing Bolton defender Tal Ben Haim.

Centre-back Ben Haim, 24, has become one of the most sought-after players in the transfer window, with West Ham, Spurs and Portsmouth among the other clubs keen on his services.

Chelsea are also considering Jermain Defoe, Benni McCarthy, Obafemi Martins and Nicolas Anelka as additions to their strike-force.

from the mirror, obviously dunno how much substance is in the story....

but i'd be wanting 20m for the pair...

yes we shouldnt be selling, but i feel if either player got a whiff of this, they'd be demanding a transfer.

 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ wake me up when the transfer window is closed. soooooooooooooooooooooooo boring

The Anelka part of the story is absolute bollocks, but I expect TBH will be moving on shortly. In fairness if Chelsea do come in for him who can blame TBH if he wants out. Can't see us getting much more than 2mil though

According to the BBC tittle tattle column, the Mirror has Chelsea vying with Lyon for Milan Baros' signature.

Surely that's proof enough that they just make stuff up.

Also says Blackburn are going to let season ticket holders in for free against Bayer Leverkusen.

Should guarantee a 2000 gate, that.

To be fair to Homer the Chelsea link with Baros is the main thread of The Mirror article but Homer has just quoted the bits about Bolton.

Heard that from a Inbred fan last night. It is Blackburn's offer to keep season ticket holders happy after all the reduced price Prem games they have had / will have this season that their season ticket holders have already paid for.

Good on em I say. Would BWFC be as thoughtful?

Money grabbing bastards. German t.v paying 650,000 brick for the rights to the game

Next season if we qualify for Europe, I would expect them to do something similair for ST holders..............only for the UEFA Cup though, as CL games would probably sell out.....................but I'm probably dreaming again

Aye, I can just see a full house on when Levski Sofia come to town.

Wake up CWP.

We have not had a single sell-out this season.

Jackburn kick off at 6pm, to keep German TV happy.

And our board would never dream of rewarding fans, charging ??30+ for the City game on Saturday is the only reason I'm not going. I might join the MASSIVE demonstration they're planning outside ::::::::lol::::::::

I know, you're right.............I was merely deluding myself

Just as if they have a devine right to move for any player even if they are not available.

Totally out of order
