Jlloyd Samuel insists he knows nothing of any reported interest from Bolton Wanderers, but the defender does admit his future at Aston Villa is still to be decided.

 

The full-back is out of contract at the end of the season and had been linked with a move to Sam Allardyce's Trotters who are preparing for the impending departure of Tal Ben Haim.

 

Samuel has missed large parts of Villa's Premiership campaign due to a torn thigh muscle but has featured three times in January under Martin O'Neill.

 

The Ulsterman is believed to be keen to keep Samuel at Villa Park, and the defender has played down speculation regarding interest from The Reebok Stadium.

 

However, Samuel has not ruled out a possible Bosman departure in the summer if he is not installed as a first-team regular in the coming months.

 

"I don't know of any interest in me personally, but to see my name linked with such clubs is flattering," Samuel told the Birmingham Mail.
