FFS how many midfield squad players do we need?

Not having a go at Nicky Hunt here (I think he had a decent game last night) but I can not believe we have not been able to sign a 'full back squad player'.

What i find refreshing about the deal is - David Thompson didn't want to discuss money with Sam, apparently he just wants to play. if it's true he just gone up in my estimations.

He didnt care about the wage he just wanted to play, that to me speak volumes and shows his commitment to the game rather than the wages
