I am like that with the sopranos, thought the last series although quite amusing with the whole Vito story was funny, nothing actually happened. From what i can gather that was simply the first part of the final series, the second part of filming got delayed as some of the actors had issues with their contracts.

 

Incidently if you like Sopranos have you ever watched Oz? set in a max security prison it is rather brutal at times but the storylines and acting are superb

You'd probably need a US address to post it to. They'd get strung up for posting DVD's to addresses where the series hasn't been shown due to copyright.

 

And a multi-region DVD player of course.

The UK airdate for Sopranos probably depends on the broadcaster. C4 aren't in any rush to broadcast US shows.

 

With Sky and Lost, they show it 4 days after the US airdate as they are well aware everybody just downloads it otherwise (or watches a pirate downloaded copy).

I've watched every ep of the Sopranos, 6 series of 13 eps, each over an hour long and have just started watching them over again.

being pedantic, they're just over 50 minutes long (although a couple are nearer 40 for some reason) without adverts and series 6, part 1, only has 12 epsiodes

I'll give you series 6 (A) has 12 eps. Pine Barrens is a classic, it's really hard to identify stand out eps though when the consistency is so high.

when ralph beats that tracee to death was pretty grim, and the acting when they shot pussy, top class

I never like Ralph so enjoyed Tony killing him, I liked the eps with Steve Buscemi in too.

 

Best scene ever was when Christopher had been made, was paying for everything and the waiter came out to complain about the tip. Classic.

I am glad i am not the only one thinking that about this season, it is just stupid at points. Mind not as stupid as Lost is getting now, If they dont explain what the hell is going on this season then bollocks to it

DVD Concept is where I always get my american DVDs from, always cheap and quick. Never had a problem with them.
