Barwick should have kept his mouth shut & appointed Big Phil or Big Sam, that's who's to blame.

Instead we got an assistant manager, who's only claim to fame is a league cup after spending enough money to win the f?cking Premiership

Bang on as. Brian Barwick looks like a d1ck and acts like one. Where the fook do planks like him come from? The Oliver Hardy school of deportment? Tosser who should go when McLaren does. Just another fatcat businessman getting off on some political power trip. The appointment of McLoser was purely political. He was already known as a pliable yes man from his days as Svens sidekick. They took the easy way out - guaranteed he wouldn't make any waves. That is the one thing they'd be scared of with Sam - him speaking his mind and telling them to stay the fook out of team affairs.

Yep.

They knew full well McLaren wouldn't question structures, club / international politics, anything beyond team affairs. And even then he doesn't rock the boat.

Unfotunately that attitude puts you right at the top of the FA list, set of C?NTS they are.

If Sam was in charge, Rooney & co would have been dropped a long time ago. McLaren thought he was 'showing them who's boss' by dropping Beckham, shame he hasn't the backbone to drop a few other 'big name' players for the good of the country.

I get really f?cking annoyed by the like of Jenas (who?) saying that all the players are backing the boss, of course you f?cking are - Scolari would have come in & dropped anyone who wasn't pulling their weight/wasn't good enough.

World class - is that a phrase used by the English media to describe any Englishman playing for the big four?

Apart from the fact that he's a defender!! FFS

If he was a striker why would I say he came on "up front"?? FFS

Michal?k came on for Slovakia in the last few minutes up front, might be the next Davies (only taller at 6'4")

So how the fcuk will he be the next Davies????

Hence my reply "Apart from the fact that he's a defender!! FFS"

If Brian Barwick's not being bummed by a Lady Dominatrix each and every week in some dungeon in the West End, then I'm Chinese!

All of 'em are out for themselves. No interest in the game.

Talking of Barwick, did anybody listen to the game on Radio 5 last night. On my way from 5-a-side to home to catch the second half, Alan Green was talking about his experiences at half time.

It appears that Espanyol virtually just handed the ground over to the Andora FA for them to organise the game. There was nowhere near enough security on, allowing England fans to easily get into the VIP areas. Alan Green was describing a free-for-all at the sandwich table that included a few of the Engish FA Blazer Boys getting a mouth full at close quarters from England fans.

So how the fcuk will he be the next Davies????

It was only a joke, alright. If its any consolation, I regret saying anything now...
