April 25, 200719 yr Thing is, I'd guess the reserves play at a level of somewhere around the Conference, therefore not many could ever step up from their level to the Premier League. Did results go our way then? According to last nights B(E)N Man City could still catch us with their two games in hand.

Taken from the Official Man City site Sadly, the news filtered through that Bolton had won 3-1, meaning that they could no longer be caught at the top of the table, despite City still having one game to go at Middlesbrough next week.
