How sh?t are we internationally? Smith isn't first choice at a mid-table toon team, and Owen is a crock who only plays (once a year, and then gets inured) for the national team.

 

McLaren is the most p?ss-poor excuse of a manager ever, his only 'big' decision was to drop Beckham - then he even recalls him ::::::::::

But come, how many will secretly (or even openly) piss themselves if (actually, you're right, when) Owen gets injured AGAIN?

They'll be throwing all sorts of toys out of prams up at the Toon.

Owen is really over rated, Smith in the other hand IMO is a good hard working player who deserves his chance

The whole England thing just epitomises everything that's wrong with the F.A. Half the ground is taken up by corporate freeloaders who can't even be arsed to watch the first 15 minutes of the second half and the other half of the ground is full of supporters who are forced to pay top wack to watch meaningless friendlies, in order to qualify for tournament tickets. Add to that, a medicocre manager, who only got the job because those better qualified didn't want it and a squad that's so thin, that Peter Crouch gets a game even though he can't get a game for Liverpool! Utter shite.
