Ah, the post wasn't worded very well. I meant if Bolton fans are happy coming down to London from Lancashire for a 12 o'clock kick off on a Sunday (as Sunderland are having to make a similar trip from County Durham very soon) then Sky is good...

Given that London is greedy, corrupt and badly managed then yes !

plus the single 3pm game at the top of the thread is much to do with the success of english teams in europe as anything else.

 

exunkly 4 games out of the 10 put back due to UEFA cup plus the fact citeh and united can't be at home on the same day makes it at least 5 games for the sunday before sky and setanta come in!.

even if citeh had played there original fixture on the saturday and jackburn hadnt got a free ride into the UEFA cup 3 games potentially at 3 o clock on a saturday is a sorry state for match going "fans".

the rest of europe has never reall had the whole 3pm on saturday ritual thet we have so they play it thursday so as not to clash with chumps league and get more tv and advertising money in.

its always going to go full circle, it doesnt matter what the fan wants, there is as much money to be made by the PL as there is in UEFA CL and Cup by doing whats best for television.
