Emergency Meeting?

I have a season ticket with Kieth Branagans's son. After the match his mum told him that there had aparently been an emergency meeting called. I don't know whether it is 100% true, or if the meeting is for what everybody would think. But if there is a meeting then it doesn't sound too good for Sammy, personally I'm not sure whether it is right or not, but if they do sack him, then they need to make the right choice and apoint the right guy.

Like I said I'm not 100% but don't be suprised if he is sacked by the end of tommorow.

It wouldn't make much sense to sack him after a defeat to Chelsea, or Arsenal for that matter. I think he's bought himself a bit of time until after the Villa, Boro, West Ham series of fixtures. After that we've got Liverpool and Man Utd so if we're still on 5 points we might as well get rid since we'll get nothing from the last two fixtures.

lee was on 5live on the way home

didn't sound like a condemned man

i think itd be more likely a response to players going behind the managers back

you really can't have that IF ITS TRUE

todays performance was as good as owt we've served up against them at the reebok for years

I make it that would be 5 points from 15 games.

A tad too late to sack LSL perhaps ?

Once again we've lost.

Once again people are saying give him more time.

Lets write off today and Arsenal? Then give him Villa and WHam? Staggering IMO. Why not give him the next 2 games and then the next 2 after that etc etc. Where does it all end?

We have 5 points FFS. Urgent action needed.

Theres only one solution and it isnt looking forward each week for the next 2 games.

Chelsea had not scored a GOAL for how many minutes before today? They were in an awful run of form by their standards and we've lost. Simple as.

Think about it.

Jesus, were you guys evcen there today? That was an excellent Bolton performance, signs of turning the ocrner were patently obvious, Nolan gets dropped, team gets a shake up. He won some time for me today, if he wasnt sackable before today (which he was imo, and should have been) then he isn't after today which was a much more encouraging effort.

Best Bolton performance under LSL and better than some of the shite served up towards the end of the FSA era.

No it would be 5 from 13. I don't see the club sacking him after games against Chelsea and Arsenal whatever the results, so that means he's got to get results against Villa, Boro and West Ham. Personally i would expect that we'd need a minimum of 6 points from that lot or he'd be out of a job.

I don't know. How many minutes have elapsed since they last played on Wednesday evening and scored twice?

So go on then!!!!!whats you fickin answer you ferkin arsewipe

i can see both sides of the arguement here.

a much improved performance today so he should keep his job for the next few games.

but

after Arsenal the pressure is right on him we need results and we need them pretty quickly!

i dont think any of us really thought we would be where we are at the start of the season.

with The Elk looking like he is off and maybe Jussi in January it may well be too late if we are still on 5-10 points in December.

we live in hope :good:

So go on then!!!!!whats you fickin answer you ferkin arsewipe

I think that there are at least seven teams in the bottom half of the table that we are more than capable of overhauling. The real test will be the trio of games coming up after the Arsenal game.

I don't know. How many minutes have elapsed since they last played on Wednesday evening and scored twice?

Did i need to add "In the Premier League".

Sorry but i obviously did.

I was trying to explain that it wasnt a game against the invincible Chelsae of the last few seasons. It was against a team that we could and possbile should have got something against. But more importantly didnt.

Never mind we lost. Who cares?

At least LSL may get us back up next year.

So by that logic we should beat Arsenal in the next game since they were only capable of beating Sunderland 3-2 today.

We would have expected maybe 1 point of 6 from these 2 games at start of season - agree wholeheartedly test will be after this. Looking at table now Reading down are going to struggle all season so we are not doomed yet, however.......

No offence, but it sounds like a pile of do do to me. What would Keith Branigan's son know about emergency meetings? Does he have a high profile job at the stadium?

it was against a chelsea team with possibly the best keeper in the world who's made at least 2 cracking saves.

A back 4 to rival the best.

as much stick as he get lampard would still walk into most teams

plus they'd just beaten valencia away so confidence was high.

Did you even watch the game? We played better today than i think we have all season and against a lesser team we would've got something out of it

i don't think tony watches us anymore

allardyce played shite football

Best Bolton performance under LSL and better than some of the shite served up towards the end of the FSA era.

!00% Agree! Also agree with the comments from Fat Shaft too.Bloody good entertaining game of football today. We certainly didn't deserve to lose.So much for Captain Shit keeping the team together,as far as I am concerned Kevin Davies has made that armband his own.People can say what they want about Allardyce but the last 12-14 months under him were not at all entertaining. We may be languishing at the bottom but on todays performance Sammy Lee certainly deserves some slack. Also a hell of a lot of the "Slag in Black"s decisions were completely in favour of the opposition AGAIN!!!I was beginning to think the Chelsea Beach Volleyball team had turned up by mistake!

definatley signs of turning the corner with todays performance, a lot better and unlucky not to take anything from it. Has to keep the same 11 for the game at arsenal, if he puts Nolan in hes a clueless tit head.

They havent won in the premier league since August 25th. 6 weeks ago.

It was great time to play them.

We have lost - AT HOME - AGAIN.

We are in the bottom 2.

If you've given up on the Liverpool & ManU fixtures as well (like you said), then add another two games ....

Spot on :good: hes bought some more time for me
