Originally I was booked on one of the TMG trips as I needed to be in the office on Friday. I have now reorganised the meeting to be at head office at Heidenheim on the Tuesday - so leaving us in Munich for 3 days now!! I am though hanging on to the TMG trip for the guaranteed ticket and will only sell it on when I know I have a ticket from the postal application!

OK for those who had the time to hand deliver their application but for those who trusted Royal Mail - we don't even know if the postal application got there!

Just managed to speak to some seriously stressed out bloke from t/o only 18 mins of shite music for me my app has been sucessful but not processed( i was gettin a bit panicky..my card has not been debited)

When I mentioned something I had read from another fan about when we should be notified, he told me in no uncertain terms that I should listen to what he is telling me and not what I read elsewhere. Said in proper shitty way too.

 

The end of the call came with him saying "We have 3 home games in 6 days so things are a little fraught".

Obviously meaning they feel justified in talking to "customers" like crap.

I finished off with "and that is why your attitude is so poor, is it"

When I rang yesterday afternoon a chap gave me a classic quote of "we have 50,000 tickets to sell for 3 homes games before worrying about Bayern Munich".

 

I nearly laughed my coffee all over the phone - 50,000 FFS! So that is an average of 16,666 per game + add on the 15,000 season ticket holders for the Villa league match!!

 

 

These numb wits don't seem to grasp that quite a few Bolton fans hoping to go to Munich need to get their hands on a ticket before finalising travel and hotle plans.

Come on JJ - do you not think that is the first thing we checked.

 

Only two contact phone numbers were entered on the form - both for the same person. That person retrieved a message from his voicemail on Saturday that stated that the tickets were ready to collect. That person has NOT been to collect the tickets but our tickets can now not be found.

 

One of our party is heading to The Reebok this afternoon to have it out with the Ticket Office.

AS of close of business on Saturday 20th October, Bolton Wanderers Ticket and Membership Office can confirm that ALL correct season ticket holder applications for Bayern Munich have been successful. A small number of these applications have yet to be processed but will be allocated tickets. Please DO NOT contact the Ticket and Membership regarding the status of your application. Lead Season ticket holder applicants will be contacted when their Bayern Munich tickets have been processed.

 

Please also be aware that the Bayern Munich tickets will NOT be be available for collection on any of our forthcoming home matches.

Yesterday on the phone the guy was accusing me of having picked up the tickets and now trying to get more (as they don't record who has actually picked up the tickets - all you need to do is to quote the name and address of the lead applicant) and then he tried to back out of his statement by saying that he was not working on Saturday - so maybe somebody posted them to you by mistake!
