What the hell has happened to our club in the last 6-12 months?! Doesn't seem real!

Allardyce was the man, it all revolved around him.

Big Sam was a very good manager for us but surely we shouldn't just accept a rapid decline back to whence we came because he left? There must be somebody out there who can steady the ship, We haven't become a bad team overnight. However I can't see how anyone can think that that man is Gary Megson.

It wasnt just allardyce leaving though was it. The upheaval of the majority of back room staff and wholesale changes of our tactics can be blamed as well.

 

No disrespect to LSL but i dont think he had a clue how to best use the staff allardyce brought in and used on a regular basis. Couple that with the fact half of them bloody left and no wonder were up shit creek!!!

 

I think, whoever we get in (increasingly lookin like megson), first priority is steady the ship get to january with a few wins under our belts and push on from there. All depends on transfer window, not so much who we bring in but which big names we manage to retain.

This goes back to Sam saying he wanted to leave legacy at the club after he left.
