November 7, 200718 yr http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/11/..._bolton_ma.html Just a lot of questions that could be easily answered. Funny how articles never appears about Roman's dodgy trading or why Man City's new owner is wanted by his own country.
November 7, 200718 yr conn, a city fan (maybe explains one of your questions) from bury, wrote an excellent book (the beautiful game) about corruption in football he got loads of praise for it, but now seems to be believing his own publicity theres balls all there that's got owt to do with him Edited November 7, 200718 yr by Casino
November 7, 200718 yr Just added my bit. As you can see, I now live in Norwich. And Normid, do you really live in Chichester?
November 7, 200718 yr What a thoroughly uninspiring piece of drivel that is. Has the smarmy looking tw@t nothing better to investigate?
November 7, 200718 yr Yes, the article is pi$$ poor, but after what this club has been through, Gartside was stupid to employ the services of this agent.

If you have followed his articles you will see he has covered both these matters. He maybe a blue, but he spends most of his time watching Glossop these days.
November 7, 200718 yr having been gripped by his time there while writing his book which brings us on to the hill-woods and dein........... if he wants to follow some no hopers he should stick to the town of his birth
November 7, 200718 yr Yes, the article is pi$$ poor, but after what this club has been through, Gartside was stupid to employ the services of this agent. inquiry found nowt wrong, so if gartside genuinley thought this man was best for job and intrests of club, he cant let worries about what some bald headed paxman wannabee might think change his mind article just a space filler or hes after a guest slot on motd 2, either way chips in it tommorrow.
November 11, 200718 yr Asking for clarification on what Mark Curtis's role was in the appointment is a valid question.
November 11, 200718 yr Asking for clarification on what Mark Curtis's role was in the appointment is a valid question. if that is the biggest issue facing football in this country and worthy off investigation i am shocked ! man city are owned and funded by a man whose income is being blocked for human rights violations. chelsea are funded by one of the dodgiest men in the world. but we used a head hunter to appoint our manager, now if we had appointed some world class name that gave us a massive advantage i could see why questions would be asked. why is the role of curtis something to be questioned ? everyone knew he was involved, it may be him being involved has not helped us, but the club knew everything ans decided to us him. it is like someone asking a car dealer at a vauxhall garage which car to buy and ending up with an astra, then the evening news demanding an enquiry.
November 11, 200718 yr if that is the biggest issue facing football in this country and worthy off investigation i am shocked ! It isn't the biggest issue facing football but then again nobody has said it was. Given the blackening of the name of Bolton Wanderers in the past twelve months it is essential we are seen to be whiter than white, employing the agent of a candidate on the interview panel is hardly that.
November 11, 200718 yr Given the blackening of the name of Bolton Wanderers in the past twelve months it is essential we are seen to be whiter than white, employing the agent of a candidate on the interview panel is hardly that. Essential for what?
November 11, 200718 yr Essential for what? Essential for tits like you to p*ss off to whatever site you came from.

Given the blackening of the name of Bolton Wanderers in the past twelve months it is essential we are seen to be whiter than white, employing the agent of a candidate on the interview panel is hardly that. if we use external help and everyone knows his contacts he is nt a problem for us and should be to anyone else. if he had been sat behind a curtain and his involvement was secret then there is a point as mr souness pulled out becuase of his involvement (as refferred to in the article) then it was hardly a secret and therefore not an issue. if the involvement made souness pull out i actually think that in itself justifies the desicion.
November 11, 200718 yr Essential for tits like you to p*ss off to whatever site you came from. Nice one mate. Doesn't answer the question though, does it?
