3-3 Vs Newcastle 1976 FA Cup(Big Sam accidentally knocked Newcastle's Alan Gowling out after scoring)

3-0 Vs Man Utd 1979 League game(Franky boy on top form)

0-1 Vs Wolves 1977 League game(unbelievable tension as they pipped us for promotion)

how about the wolves league when it went off on the pitch and they tried to attack lofty ???

Wolves 5.1 league game was one of my personal best memories at Burnden... and the FA Cup games against Villa, Everton & Arsenal (forgot the year 93?), particularly because it looks like we'll never have any more FA Cup memories in the coming future. Still gutted that I missed the Preston promotion game AND the Wolves play off game. Bristol City in 89' when we won them 1.0...in their promotion season...cracking day.

Yeh against Cardiff on the Embankment pissing it down never forget

What about the Ipswich game we lost 3-2 but FW scored THAT goal.

I was only 11,but can remember that goal like it was yesterday.

The Newcastle 3-3 FA Cup match in the seventies when Malcolm McDonald scored that wonder goal. Then a replay at Newcastle and a second replay at Elland Rd. These were exciting times I'm getting all emotional..

 

 

 

p.s. If Peter Thompson hadn't been injured for the second replay we would have stuffed 'em that day.

its the UTD game when we beat em 3-0 i was stood on the Burnden terrace (i think it was around Christmas) and after the 3rd went in the entire ground was singing "Bolton 3 bastards nil alleluia" ragging brilliant!

now i am getting tearful ahhhhhhh I was born under the lever end boots were made for kicking knives were made for stabbing etc etc etc
