superb trip,

arrived wed dinnertime met squidgy near hostel and straight on the sauce,went into bayern supporters bar (who knocked them footballs ),went to the sports bar, then went to 2 kellers, augustiner and hofbrauhaus,

the bouncers said on entry no football singing in her, as 300 bolton fans started an old fashioned sing song,even the oompah band stopped playing at one point.ended up finishing drinking in early hours of the morning a bit worse for wear.

started back on the sauce again about 11 am thurs morn was a struggle at 1st and never got any better

 

the match well what can you say, after 30 years watching bolton this is up there with the best of them,

 

gary megson you are begining the earn a lot of the bolton fans respect.

 

met a load of good lads of this site (oli spence and the wet bed-ashey,kempo squidgy (top man) zozzy,ryan,cassino,underpants

 

got back at 2pm today and straight into sweetgreen with randy west and his band of merry men

 

my arse didnt dissapont, and i didn't wash while i wash there

The Bolton lads in the Haufbrauhaus on Weds night were a bit "boisterous" but i didn't see them actually doing much wrong apart from being pissed and noisy, but they were herded up and "nudged" out of the place by the police, the bar was closed - and most boozers in the vicinity were either shut or chose to close early.Anyone itk had a contingency plan and ended up boozing till dawn anyway

We left about 12-00 and there was no trouble. We were told the next day that someone has swung from the chandelier and trashed a table full of steins

Got back at 3:30 this morning, what can you say except "a quality trip, great result, fantastic atmosphere from the fans, and, the Germans proved to be fine hosts" oh, the beer was good

what a brilliant trip, beer was great and match unreal. If i had been told we would get a point against the German giants i wouldnt of believed it...

I've just woke up after 20 hours sleep after getting back yesterday.

 

That was my first Euro trip and 2 quality days. The match was the best I have ever been to, with the Stadium the atmosphere and the result.

 

Do the players always come out for a warm down or did they just want to milk it a bit more?

had another great day on the lash yesterday until our mini-bus picked us up just after 6pm and took us back to the airport. Feck me, the snow was starting to come down at that point and the distinct possibility of a snowstorm at Munich airport seemed spookily ironic.

Have to say what an absolute fantastic trip, got back at midnight last night. Ale superb, great atmosphere in and around town created by the wanderers fans and the germans were great hosts!! Even the "normal" members of the public were taking pictures in the bars of the atmosphere and singing. Managed to sell my home end tickets to some very grateful Bayern fans on the cheap too. they said they struggled to get tickets?? dont know how that was possible it didnt look full!!

 

Only downside was having a laugh with some germans through a pub window trying to get them to climb in when it was shut and two bolton fans started shouting abuse at them and one "bolton supporter/fan" spat at them and told them to feck off, which i thought was absolutely disgusting, just tried to dismiss it and not let someone like that ruin a quality trip or give us a bad name.

Great trip, would only be echoing other 'reviews' if I posted my own.
