Complimentary Tickets?

Reet, 2 days before we flew to Munich we were offered complimentary tickets for the game, we already had tickets which we paid 25 euro's for, but the comps were on the side, behind the dugouts halfway up, in the middle of the Germans. We took the tickets and used them purely and simply because it was a better view, we couldn't give our 'bought' tickets away as there was no demand for them, no problem, we saw the match in good seats for 25 euro's.

I was told last night that the person who 'gave' us the said complimentary tickets wants ?30 off us to pay for the tickets as the club have taken ?300 out of his wages.

He is one of our first team players, the question is 'do I pay him?' or report him to the club for selling tickets, BTW, there is NO price printed on the tickets

I think John Arne Riise was deducted for match tickets on that leaked payslip. Although I tend to agree, it seems pointless when you look at what theyre earning.

they get enough out the club as it is

Fair point but it's like me getting my wage deducted for taking a paper clip home. All I'm saying is it isn't worth the hassle of administering.

I used to get complimentry tickets every game when Caldwell played for us.

Home & away & was NEVER ever asked to pay owt.

I did buy him a gallon of ale now & then!! :drinks:

Got 17 for 1 home game.

Used to get 4 or more every game quite often.

toodle pip :good:

Legally, a player is no more or no less an employee of the club as a junior office trainee - so the point being is that if you give a player a free ticket you have to give every employee access to free tickets.

It then becomes very costly for the employer.

So they can't be called complimentary if you have to pay for them

What would you say the average squad player is on at our spot, surely he's on enough to foot the bill for his so-called friends a couple of tickets. What a w*nker he is, he would be no friend of mine, i would rather go through the proper channels than rely on that t0sser

1. I have not, and will not say who it is/was

2. We already had tickets which we paid 25 euro's for.

3. We were given these extra tickets 2 days before we flew to Munich.

4. I still have both tickets.

5. We should really tell him that none of us used them.

6. In the stadium you could virtually walk all the way round so it didn't matter where your ticket was for.

Thanks for debating this, I am still no clearer what to do

Ricki, tell him to fcuk mop, the greedy tosser

One day he might be playing for England in the World Cup Final. Think long,

DRUGS/ ALCOHOL ?

Club captain gets a pile of tickets, amount depending on the grade of game .He divides them up between the lads and they have an arangement that you only take what you need. lads having a load of mates coming over from foriegn parts for a game for instance gets a enough for his possy. They work it well and fair between them, campo hogs a load on a regular basis.Ex players also get a shout. They are defo not charged for them.Any extra tickets(only reasonable amount for big games) they want are chargable.Home games you can spot em all behind the dug out.Theres also a section in the top teer if your not so well in.

Fully agree.

If you give someone a free ticket, you don't decide you want the money for it after the event.Decent people don't anyway.

Not really arsed about the reets or wrongs. Any spares going...................? :good:

I'd rather have been in block 340 with the fans than anywhere else in the ground.
