Pc Offended At Secret Santa "joke"

Featured Replies

Laughable story. The actual joke wasn't funny - but the overreaction from the PC f?cktards is.

PC gone mad again. The muslim bloke was taking part in a secret santa, which is from a christian celebration, so although he has his muslim beliefs, he was being part of work thing that everyone does. There is an assumption that all muslims are offended, and although this bloke was rightly pi55ed off, he just shrugged it off. I think it was a do gooder observer that complained.

Let's face it - it was a f?cking stupid thing to do, after all's said and done

Utter bollocks. He would never have sent it in an environment like that if he didn't think the other lad wouldn't see the funny side of it. Contrary to popular belief people in the OB are shit scared of their own shadows when it comes to causing offence to someone about religion etc.

It's a sad indictment on our society when the majority of these incidents are blown out of all proportion by a person who is normally a white christian do-gooding tw?t. In my experience, if you ever make a tongue in cheek (pardon the pun) joke at someone you know at work whether they be gay, muslim, jewish or whatever then they are normally the first to laugh their arse off and the matter will be forgotten straight away.

So he's a non PC PC?

Or even a non PC non PC.

Or even a non PC non PC.

Or even, non PC ex PC ::::::lol::::::

Sounds like a 70's band name <_<

No, you are right, a policeman giving a Muslim colleague alcohol and bacon is the height of comedy and sophistication and is a very intelligent thing to do also

Get a grip and get off your soapbox man

I was appalled by someone posting a link to a disgusting web site like the Daily Mail's on a public forum

nobody said it was the height of intelligence or even funny but at the end of the day was a work place joke between two coleagues and as ususal the pc brigade have turned into something it wasnt, ie racist. no difference between this and the bald lad at our place who got a comb and a bottle of shampoo ie a p*ss take nothing more.

I agree, thats very poor.

Surely the more appropriate present would have been a rucksack, containing a ticking clock with a few coloured wires hanging out of it.

I'd do it because it would be funny under the right circumstances. Just because someone is muslim and happens to work for the police doesn't mean they don't have a sense of humour The police has a very big piss-taking culture and when they are away from the public eye why shouldn't they have a laugh?

Seriously, would anyone on here be offended if a mate at work made a tongue in cheek dig at their religion?

Yer reet, most wouldn't.Having said that, the "joke" was aimed at a particularly humourless and touchy bunch -
